1. Plans and Pricing

Local Flow is sold as a monthly subscription with tiers based on how many people are on your team. Some tiers are also offered in more than one feature mode.

The prices that apply to you are the ones shown in the app at the moment you choose a plan, and in the checkout confirmation you receive. This Policy deliberately does not restate prices — an earlier version of it named a monthly figure that no longer matched what was charged, and a policy document is the wrong place for a number that changes.

Before you are charged anything, the app shows you the plan name, what it includes, the price, and the billing period. Nothing is charged until you confirm.

Video & photo storage. Every plan includes 25 GB of storage for photos, videos and documents. If you need more, storage is a separate monthly add-on beside your plan and never changes which plan you are on: 100 GB for $5, 250 GB for $10, 500 GB for $18, 1 TB for $32, 2 TB for $60, 5 TB for $140, 10 TB for $260, and more by arrangement. We never delete what you have uploaded to make room; passing your allowance is a prompt to add storage or free some up, not a deletion.

2. No Lock-In: What We Do Not Do

Contractors have been burned by field-service software contracts, and the complaints are consistent: minimum terms, multi-year commitments, a narrow window in which cancellation is even possible, penalties for leaving early, and a fight to get their own customer list out on the way through the door.

None of that applies here, and we are putting it in writing so it is a promise rather than a marketing line:

If we ever change any of this, it applies only to subscriptions started afterwards, and existing customers keep these terms.

3. Where You Bought Matters

Your subscription is managed by whoever you bought it through, and that determines how you change or cancel it and who handles refunds.

If you are not sure which applies, the billing screen in the app tells you, or ask us.

4. Free Trials

We may offer a free trial. Where a trial does not require a payment method, you will not be charged when it ends — it simply stops, and you choose whether to subscribe.

Where a trial does require a payment method up front, we will tell you clearly, before you start, when the trial ends and what you will be charged if you do nothing, and we will remind you before the first charge.

Trials may be limited to one per business, and length and features may vary by promotion. Your data from a trial is kept if you subscribe, and is handled under the Data & Account Deletion Policy if you do not.

5. Starting a Paid Subscription

A paid subscription begins when you choose a plan, provide payment information, and complete checkout. At that point you are authorizing recurring charges — the plan fee, applicable taxes, and any add-ons you selected — until you cancel.

We send a confirmation showing what you bought, the amount, the billing period, the renewal date, and how to cancel. Keep it; it is your record.

6. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your payment method will be charged the then-current price for the next period.

Before you subscribe we disclose, clearly and next to the place you confirm: that the subscription renews automatically, how often, what it costs, and how to cancel. We do not treat silence or continued use as agreement to a new kind of charge.

Several states, California among them, regulate automatic renewals specifically. Where a state requires more — a particular disclosure format, an acknowledgment, a reminder, or a specific cancellation method — we follow that state’s rule for customers there.

7. Renewal Reminders

For any subscription with a billing period longer than one month, we will send a reminder before it renews, stating the renewal date, the amount, and how to cancel.

For monthly subscriptions we will tell you in advance of any change to the amount — see Section 7 — and the renewal date is always visible on the billing screen.

8. Price Changes

We may change prices. A price change affecting your existing subscription takes effect only after at least 30 days’ notice, sent to the email on your account, and only from your next billing period. You may cancel before it takes effect and will not be charged the new price.

Promotional or introductory pricing lasts for the stated period; when it ends, the standard price applies, and we will tell you before that happens.

9. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Seat Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on a pro-rated basis for the remainder of the current billing period, so you pay only for the time you have the higher plan.

Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep what you paid for until then. We do not refund the difference for a downgrade mid-period.

Tiers are based on team size. If you add people beyond your tier’s limit you will be asked to move up a tier. If you reduce your team, moving down a tier is your choice and is not automatic — we will not quietly downgrade you, and we will not quietly upgrade you either.

10. How to Cancel

You can cancel at any time, and it takes about as long as subscribing did.

We will not make you call, sit through a retention offer, wait for business hours, or hunt through menus to cancel. If you cannot find the cancellation path or it is not working, email Support@local-flow.app and we will cancel it for you and confirm in writing.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Neither does letting a card expire. Cancel through one of the paths above.

11. When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account moves to whatever free or read-only access we offer at the time, or closes.

We will confirm the cancellation and tell you the date access ends.

12. Refunds

Fees are generally non-refundable once charged, including for partial periods, except where the law says otherwise or where we decide a refund is the right thing to do. We review requests individually rather than applying a blanket rule, and you are welcome to ask.

Circumstances where we would normally refund: a duplicate charge, a charge after a valid cancellation, a charge caused by our error, or an extended outage that prevented you using what you paid for.

App-store purchases are refunded by the app store, not by us — Apple and Google handle those under their own policies, and we cannot process or override them.

Nothing here limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you have under the law where you live.

13. Failed Payments

If a payment fails we will tell you and retry over a short period. If it keeps failing we may limit paid features and then suspend the account, after notice and a reasonable chance to update your payment method.

Suspension for non-payment does not delete your data. Bring the account current and it returns. Data handling after an extended lapse is covered in Section 15.

14. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first — most billing problems are a mistake and we can fix them quickly, usually faster than a bank dispute. Raise a disputed charge with us within 60 days.

If you file a chargeback, the payment processor may suspend the account while the dispute is open. We will provide the processor with our records, and we will tell you what we sent.

15. Taxes

Prices exclude tax unless stated. You are responsible for applicable sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes. Where we or an app store are required to collect a tax, it is added to your charge and shown before you confirm.

16. What Happens to Your Data

Cancelling is not the same as deleting. Cancelling stops billing; your data stays so you can come back or export it. Deleting removes it.

Export your data before you cancel if you want a copy — the export features work while the account is active, and for 30 days after termination you can ask us for an export (Terms of Service §19).

To delete your account and data, use the in-app path or the Data & Account Deletion Policy.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. The “Last Updated” date will change, and material changes affecting an existing subscription get advance notice as described in Section 7.
